S Citadep-10 is used of the treatment of major depression and generalized anxiety disorder. S Citadep-10 is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. It works by increasing the amount of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that helps maintain mental balance.
Take the medication as prescribed by your doctor or physician.
Side effects may include insomnia, diarrhea, dry mouth, somnolence, dizziness, sweating, constipation, fatigue and indigestion.
Complete each medication as directed by doctors. Sudden discontinuation may result withdrawal symptoms such as mood changes, dizziness, agitation, irritability, difficulty in sleeping. (Dosage may be required to decrease gradually before stopping suddenly.).
If you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Escitalopram.
Consult your doctor if you are taking other anti-depressant medication.
